Dr. Ronny D. Knox is currently in his 2nd year as Superintendent of the Sam Houston State University Charter School and his 29th year in Education.  Dr. Knox has previously served in Nacogdoches ISD, VictoriaI ISD, Gonzales ISD, Faith Academy in Victoria, and St. Joseph High School in Victoria.  During his career he has held positions as a high school teacher and coach, Special Education Coordinator and Special Education Director, Vice-Principal, Principal, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction, and Associate Superintendent of Business and Operations.

Dr. Knox has also held Adjunct Professor positions with Stephen F. Austin State University and Sam Houston State University.  Dr. Knox is certified to teach English 6-12, History 6-12, Special Education K-12, Psychology and AP Psychology.
